Reading and sharing

Everything on Inner Circle Nepal is free to read. You may link to our stories anywhere, quote reasonable extracts with attribution and a link, and share the pages themselves freely. You may not republish articles in full without written permission, or present our reporting as your own.

This is journalism, not advice

A large part of what we publish concerns immigration rules, labour law, taxation and money transfer. It is reported as accurately as we can manage at the time of publication, and it is not legal, financial or migration advice. Rules change, sometimes within days, and individual circumstances differ enormously. Before you act on anything you read here, check the current official instrument and — where the stakes justify it — a licensed adviser in the relevant country.

We are not liable for decisions taken solely on the basis of a story. Where we discover an error we correct it under our corrections policy.

Third-party links and rates

We link to external sources and publish indicative exchange rates. We do not control those sites, and the rates shown are for orientation only — your operator’s executable rate and fees will differ. Always compare before you send money.

Contributions

If you send us a tip, a photograph or a document, you confirm you have the right to share it. You keep ownership of what you send; you grant us permission to use it in our reporting. We will agree attribution with you before publication.

Acceptable use

Do not attempt to disrupt the site, scrape it at a rate that degrades it for other readers, or use it to distribute malware or harass anyone. We reserve the right to block access where that happens.
